Q. If the cause of death is due to sickness, will this plan pay any benefits?
A. No, death must occur by a covered accident, on or off the job.

Q. I'm planning on retiring soon, can I keep this plan when I retire?
A. Yes, as long as you are a dues paying APWU member under age 80.

Q. I have AD & D coverage now and I am retiring soon. What will happen to my coverage?
A. If your AD & D coverage is greater than $100,000, it will be reduced to $100,000. If it is less than $100,000, your coverage will not change.
